What Makes Us Different?
It's fair to say that the average rainbow trout angler is typically going to be using a fly fishing rod. While that is certainly still an option on our outings, our guides are primarily going to have you using spinner reels and rooster tail lures. Now, this does not mean that is all you are able to do while on your charter trip. If you have gear of your own that you would like to put to the test, you are more than welcome to! We promise to put you where the fish are regardless of what you are trying to catch them with.

Why Choose Our Guadalupe River Charter?
Most charters on the Guadalupe are going to have you sitting in a drift boat with 2-4 people casting in different directions for the full duration of your outing. While that is still an incredible way to experience this river system, we have found that the adventure of navigating it on your own (with the help of our guides) is much more rewarding. We will spend an equal amount of time paddling and fishing throughout the day. Our guides will direct you on where to pull your boat to the side of the bank if we are in a good spot to wade or cast into moving water. You are always welcome to cast from your kayak throughout the trip!

What We Hope to Accomplish
Our goal is for our customers to gain knowledge about rainbow trout species and Texas conservation efforts, and discover the hidden natural beauty of Texas from a new perspective - a kayak! Enjoy crystal clear waters and stunning Texas hill country views. Catch some incredible fish, and let us teach you how to harvest such an amazing species with the respect it deserves.
